FRHA 2/11/2010 Meeting News
- 2010 Ad Forms Sponsors will be put on the FRHA website. We will also have a banner @ each show with the sponsors name on it. Kim will also send out a bulk e-mail with all of the sponsors. Remember if you are the top AD seller then you receive a "free" stall @ State. Selling the Ads is a great way of making money for FRHA for year end awards. Ads are due 2/28/10. - 3/11/10 FRHA meeting @ Wings & Things in Zebulon @ 7:00 PM. If eating try to arrive early.
- We would like to get a list of Judges for the Pleasure classes together. Please provide us with any names & #'s of Judges that you might know in our area.
- Banquet ideas - Please let us know if you have any ideas/suggestions for the 2010 banquet (date, location, etc.)
- Timed & Pleasure points keeper will have the points completed within 2 weeks of a show to be posted on the website.
- There will be two arenas @ State in Perry for the 2010 State Show. The Reaves Arena will have the running/timed events. Running will start Saturday morning @ 7:00 AM. The running will start with Pony Poles & run through 13-19 Poles & the running will continue with these age groups all the way through Cloverleaf. They hope to run Ladies & men's 20-38 on Saturday also & Start Sunday with Ladies 39 & over poles. Pleasure will start @ 7 AM on Saturday morning in the other arena with the Halter classes in the usual order & then will continue with the 20 & over Western Pleasure, Reining, Western Horsemanship, Style Racking, English Pleasure, Flatshod Racking, English Equitation, Country Pleasure Racking. The plan is to run all 19 & under timed events Saturday while the Adults pleasure classes are taking place in the other arena. Vice versa on Sunday. They are hoping this way that those that ride both & qualify will be allowed to ride in those classes @ Perry & not have to choose. Each Arena will start @ 7 AM on Saturday, Sunday & Monday.
- Rule Book Committee - Cindy Grantham, Lawrence Jump, Bill Allison, Christy Barnhart & Kim Morrison - meeting 2/19 @ Bill's.
- King Arena is available for shows for $250.00, new lighting & concession stand. Thursday night Jack Pot coming soon. Contact Gene King 678-378-4860

- Barnesville Saddle Club will be having their shows @ the Barnesville Ag Center the 1st Saturday of each month starting March 6. Pleasure & running classes. Contact Cindy Grantham 678-588-1687- See Tab on left for more info.

When you are angry, let me teach you how well I can stand on my hind feet, because I don't FEEL like cantering on my right lead today, that's why.
When you are worried, let me entertain you with my mystery lameness, GI complaint & skin disease.
When you feel superior, let me teach you that, mostly, you are the maid service.
When you are self-absorbed, let me teach you to PAY ATTENTION. I told you about those dragons in the forest.
When you are arrogant, let me teach you what 1,200 lbs of yipee-yahoo-gotta-go horse can do when suitably inspired.
When you are lonely, let me be your companion. Let's do lunch. Breakfast & dinner sound good, too.
When you are tired, don't forget about the 600 lbs of grain that needs to be unloaded.
When you are feeling financially secure, let me teach you the meaning of "veterinary services."
When you need to learn, hang around the barn, Bud, I'll learn ya :-)
